Established in 2005, the world famous RC Model Glasses have become the first choice of radio control pilots the world over. Now distributed in most parts of the world, Model Glasses are worn by many of the world’s best know pilots including Dominik Hagelle, Wolfgang and Roland Matt and Sebastiano Silvestre to name just a few.
SUNGLASSES FOR RADIO CONTROL – WHY?
Model Glasses were developed in response to a requirement for a pair of sunglasses specifically designed for use when coping with the unique conditions experienced when tracking an object across the sky, from a position on the ground.
Each set of Model Glasses comes complete with four sets of interchangeable lenses for different light conditions, a carry case, cleaning cloth and neck strap – everything you need at the field in one handy package. The case features belt fixing loops and a catch, to ensure it won’t get lost.

• Conformity to En 1836 and US ANSI Z80.3 safety standards
• Category 0 light enhancing lenses
• Category 2 beige lenses for fairly bright conditions (polarised with Nimbus and Innovation Plus)
• Category 3 lenses for sunny conditions (polarised with Nimbus and Innovation Plus)
• Category 4 lenses for very bright sunlight
• Wrap-around styling which blocks unwanted light and wind from the sides and bottom of your vision
• Tough polycarbonate construction
• Light weight
• Ultra comfort – rubber nose pieces and side-arm inserts
• Prescription option (select ‘Innovation Plus’ from the options on the right)
• Polarized option for glare reduction (Nimbus model – see right)
