When it comes to choosing a cost-effective, neat solution to your prescription sunglasses requirements, Over Glasses are difficult to beat. Polarised overglasses from Rapid Eyewear are lightweight, strong, optically correct and perfect for your cycling requirements (with added strap - see below).
Size
Medium-Large Correctors are designed to fit over larger glasses, measuring up to 135 x 48mm. If your glasses are smaller or wider than this, please consider one of our alternative products as follows:
1). Regular size, for smaller spectacles up to 130 x 46mm - here
2). 'Vogue' half-rim over glasses that fit over wider spectacles, up to 140mm x 43mm - here
The Frame
Made from a tough polycarbonate, the lightweight frame fits comfortably over most styles of spectacles. It is finished in an attractive gloss black colour.
The Lenses
Impact resistant polycarbonate lenses are fitted to the over glasses. They feature a flash mirror finish that reflects light when outdoors, and polarised filters which filter horizontal light that bounces off flat surfaces (such as the road, windscreens etc.) to cause glare. The light treatment is Category 3, which is perfect for sunny conditions.
Retainer Strap
To make sure your overglasses stay firmly on your head whilst on the bike, we recommend you add a retainer to your purchase. Please select this from the drop-down menu at the top of this page before completing your purchase.
Conformity
Rapid Eyewear sunglasses conform to British, European and US standards for sunglasses and protective equipment testing. They offer 100% UVA / UVB (uv400) protection.
