When it comes to choosing a cost-effective, neat solution to your prescription requirements, Torts are difficult to beat. Rapid Eyewear's over glasses are lightweight, strong, optically correct and perfect for all your sports and leisure requirements.
Size
'Torts' will fit over glasses that are approximately 13cm wide and with a maximum lens height of 4.3cm. if you think they will be too small, please consider our alternative tortoiseshell over glasses:
1). Medium-large size - will fit glasses up to 13.5 x 4.8cm, here
2). Vogue - will fit glasses up to 142mm wide, here
The Frame
Made from a tough polycarbonate, the lightweight frame fits comfortably over most styles of spectacles. It features a high quality, fashionable translucent tortoiseshell finish.
The Lenses
Impact resistant polycarbonate lenses are fitted to Torts. They feature a mirror finish, and polarised filters which remove glare from your vision by filtering out horizontal light. The light treatment is Category 3, which is perfect for sunny conditions.
Conformity
Rapid Eyewear products comply with British, European and US standards. They feature 100% UVA / UVB (uv400) protection.
