What Do They Do?

Nimbus Night glasses have category 0 lenses, with an AR coating on the rear surfaces that removes glare from artificial lights, such as those you might see n a range. This allows you to see and judge the target much better.

Why Are They Not Polarised?

Many 'night glasses' for sale have polarised lenses. Please note that polarised lenses do not work at night, and cannot reduce the glare from artificial lights. Polarised filters are only designed to filter sun light that bounces off horizontal surfaces to cause glare. Some manufacturers add polarised filters to their night glasses because they know many of their customers think this is what they need. It isn't. Rapid Eyewear is a brand with integrity and we only produce glasses that have exactly what is required for the intended purpose.

The Frames

Made from an ultra-tough TR90 composite, the high quality frame is finished in a hand-sprayed matt black colour and features sprung side arms. it has a wrap-around style that blocks unwanted glare from entering the sides of your vision.
