MORITZ PHOTOCHROMIC SHOOTING GLASSES / GOGGLES

The original Moritz interchangeable goggles - sunglasses have been a staple of Rapid Eyewear's Alpine range of products for many years. This latest incarnation sees the introduction of a photochromic (transition) lens that changes from Category 1 - Category 3 and back again, according to the light conditions.

In their basic form, Moritz are a highly fashionable pair of wrap-around safety sunglasses for shooting. Add the foam windshield insert, unclip the side arms and add the strap and you have a high-specification pair of goggles that can be used in all situations, including airsoft and paintballing.

The Frames

Moritz benefit from an incredibly tough frame, made from TR90, a plastic material that's superior to the more usually seen polycarbonate. The frames are very tough, and therefore offer a superb level of protection in the event of an accident. Rubber side arm inserts and nose pieces ensure maximum comfort.

The Lenses

Rapid Eyewear's new transition lenses alter their tint according to the light, from Category 1 (dull conditions) to Category 3 (sunny conditions) as required. This is of course an extremely handy feature to have when you're in the middle of a shoot and the light keeps changing.

As with all Rapid Eyewear sport sunglasses, Moritz have de-centred lenses, which means they have been calibrated to nullify the possible distorting effect of placing a curved lens in front of your face.

UV Protection and Conformity

All of our sunglasses comply with British European and US standards. They offer 100% UVA / UVB (uv400) protection for all lens types.

Changing to Extreme Sports Mode

It couldn't be easier to change the Moritz from a pair of sunglasses into goggles. All you do is:

1). Unclip the side arms and pull them out
2). Attach the sturdy, wide head strap
3). Adjust the length of the strap to suit
4). Clip on the foam gasket

The Package

Every pair of Moritz sunglasses come with a microfibre carry pouch which doubles as a cleaning cloth, and a head retainer strap.
