CAMOUFLAGE ARMY & SHOOTING SUNGLASSES
Rapid Eyewear's camouflage army & shooting sunglasses are difficult to beat in terms of versatility, comfort, quality and performance. They feature impact-resistant interchangeable polarised lenses for use in different light conditions.
The Frames
The superb quality, lightweight TR90 frame is virtually bullet-proof and has many features including sprung side-arms, a slight flex for comfortable fitting on most heads, rubber side arm extensions and nose pads plus a wrap-around shape that blocks unwanted light from the peripheries of your vision. Hand-finished in an attractive camouflage colour scheme.
The Lenses
Three sets of polycarbonate lenses are supplied as standard, these being:
- Category 0, light-enhancing for dull days or early morning / night fishing
- Category 2, beige polarised for fairly bright days
- Category 3, grey polarised mirror, for use on sunny days.
All lenses are de-centred for optimum calibration, and anti-scratch coated. Polarising filters remove horizontal light that bounces of surfaces to cause glare.
By filtering out blue light, our lenses greatly improve contrast and depth perception in your field of view.
The Package
Apart from the lenses and frame, several extras are included as standard. The complete package is as follows:
- 'Hard' carry case, with internal compartments for spare lenses and belt fixing hooks
- Microfibre cleaning cloth
- retainer strap for secure fitting
UV and Conformity
Rapid Eyewear sunglasses conform to British, European and US standards for sunglasses and protective equipment testing. They offer 100% UVA / UVB (uv400) protection.
Additional Lenses
For those who want to use their sunglasses in very bright conditions, we are pleased to offer a category 4 dark, smoked lens set as an optional extra. If you require these lenses, please click on the appropriate button near the top of this page before completing your purchase.
Important: The category 4 lens set is not suitable for driving.
